I am Ana Paula Pérez Hernández, a specialist in family education, social policy, and philanthropy. Since 2017, I have taught the FEMM (Fertility Education and Medical Management) program to women, couples, adolescents, and community groups in schools, clinics, and parishes, helping individuals understand reproductive health and strengthen relationship wellbeing. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Family Science from the Pontifical Institute of Studies on Marriage and Family in Mexico and a Master's degree in Public and Social Policy from the University of York, where I specialized in family policy.
My work has focused on supporting families and communities through education, research, and program development. I have delivered workshops on healthy communication in marriage inspired by Dr. John Gottman's research, on early childhood development based on work from Harvard's Center on the Developing Child, on the role of fatherhood in emotional growth, and on the different stages of family life. I co-led research on work-family balance in Monterrey and collaborated with the Social Value Institute on projects connecting public institutions, social organizations, and private sector partners.
I have also taken part in international forums and working groups connected to the United Nations and the Organization of American States, contributing to discussions on women's health, family policy, and community wellbeing. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to promoting a culture of care and human dignity in public and social policy.
I currently work in Cambridge as Philanthropy Lead at Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust, where I develop partnerships to support health and community programs, and I participate in the Catholic Young Professionals group at Our Lady of the English Martyrs parish. I work in English and Spanish, collaborating with parishes, schools, dioceses, community organizations, and public institutions in the UK and internationally.
